I’m closing my eyes
And seeing you, with him.
This new him.
This guy…from around the way

Yes I’m mixing herbs again
Taking edibles on top of blunts
Trying not to be sober
Anytime soon.

I’m not here and I’m fine with that
No love will keep any of their promises, and I’m fine with that
These girls move on and forget about you
And I’m fine with that

~ All Girls Forget About Their Old Love, When They Get Someone New

I was taught to never worry
That this new girl, would cover up

These worries.

I was shown that the same way you catch one girl
Is the same way, another can fall into your hands

None of that shit is real.
