Poetry Pack(s): One Way Flight/Hold Me Tight Or Not

One Way Flight

Photo by Nicholas Ng on Unsplash

Everything about you
Tells me to kiss the moon
You’re the closest I can get to this
You’re the reflection in the lake

~ Sakari

For others, it’s a countdown
For me, it’s a wish that escaped
I was just fortunate enough
To get the right genie

~ Sakari

Something deeper than a text
Something louder than a notification
I’m sipping myself to exhaustion
I use the days to tell a story

~ Sakari

I already have you
But I don’t have you
We’ve got plans to
But we can’t plan further
You came to me during my awake
But I’m dreaming of our nights

~ Sakari

I know once we get there
It’ll be everything included
You’ve already got someone to watch the kids
I’ve already got the place you can meet me

~ Sakari

Nothing seems like a sacrifice
When you’re what’s on the line
I’ll watch the clouds
Wave my old life goodbye

~ Sakari

Hold Me Tight Or Not

Photo by 蔡 世宏 on Unsplash

When I ask what you’re doing
I meant to ask if you were thinking of me
I mean do you love me
When there’s so many guys around

~ Sakari

If I was sad more often than happy
Would you believe you had this effect
Would you be cool with me acknowledging
I stress so strongly over you
I’m not the guy you can say
I can get over you

~ Sakari

Let’s never break up and mean it
Give passes to say the words in any order
There’s no chronological way
To be your lasting partner

~ Sakari

What does a kiss from you feel like
Your lips resemble face pillows
I crack under the pressure
Of feeling wonderful from you

~ Sakari

I’ve been on hiatus without you
You’re an element to my needs
An important impact on who I am
On a daily basis

~ Sakari

Can we stay indoors
For three days straight
No sunlight, just your eyes
To tell me when to wake

~ Sakari

Author’s Note: I’ve begun serializing poetry on Amazon — meaning my poetry will be completely free for all Kindle Unlimited users. I’ll be updating this series weekly, with a new part every week.

You’re the liquor I can chase
The high that I believe in
I feel you against my skin
My veins react every time

~ Sakari

A quick read of poetry for those with a longing heart.

Poetry Pack: Baby You Matter/I Heart Games With You

Poetry for a gathering heart

Baby You Matter

You’ve never gotten flowers before
There’s a flower shop not too far from you
I’ll send you a bouquet for V-Day
Planned visits to places for your B-day

~ Sakari

I haven’t celebrated anything
Outside of Halloween
I work, and I’m off and on with love
I can’t treat you the same, Love

~ Sakari

I’m not the type to diss the past
So I won’t say anything about your ex
But you don’t have a next
I won’t treat you, like everything’s about sex

~ Sakari

You’re so affectionate, and you’re much more romantic
Than I can ever be

I like this…

You’re so artistic, the things you draw
And how your curiosity has you going
You’ll never have to adventure

For my affection

~ Sakari

I Heart Games With You

Whenever I get these new tattoos
You’ll feel them first
These new tattoos
Won’t make a few stand out

~ Sakari

Unlike my tattoos
I’ll never cover a thing about you
You’ll never need to hide your face from me
Put your hands back to your side

~ Sakari

Why hide your body
I’ve already seen your thighs before
So much of you in a single image
Video chats where I see more

~ Sakari

They won’t see you how I do
Get you to blush just to kiss past your lips, like I do
My lips against your teeth, I love that much of you
Get you upset, make you want space from me, just to over impress you

~ Sakari

Poem: I’m Gonna Drain You

Photo by Colorblind Photography on Unsplash

I’m gonna drain you.
***
I wanna take all of the liquids
Out of your body.
***
I want you to come so much
That you become dehydrated
Like it doesn’t matter to me
Like you don’t need your fluids
I need your fluids
I need the taste off your nipples
The milk that still drips
A fresh mom’s body
I want what’s left of you
***
You have no idea of my desire
I’m looking
When you think that I’ve had enough
I’m merely contemplating
Savoring the taste on my tongue
I never rush my food
“Baby wait”
I can do that
I can savor the taste a little bit longer
I can struggle against this thirst, a little longer

~ Sakari

Your First (Outerlude)

I swear on my heart, I want to be the first of your everything
I want to be the first one to never leave you
The first one to wake up in the morning, searching for you
The first one to notice when you can’t sleep at night
The first one to calm you down with kisses on your chest
The first one to catch your tears in my hand
***
I want to be the first to explore
your imagination

~ Sakari

Hey Siri! (Interlude)

Drop me from the highest sky
Back first, I fall into intoxication
This intimacy is forever
One night at a time, I remember
***
You make me believe and eat
Away at this plate of edible flowers
Petals that love you for you
We should be saying those magic words
Soon
***
Hey Siri
Set a reminder for 8:30
Every morning
I want her to wake up
To a passage of feelings from me
***
Hey Siri
Would it be me too much
If I walked from my place
To where she stayed
Could I convince the sky
To follow me to your side
***
Hey Siri
I think this heart of mine
Wants to hear from her more

Love Songs For Her Heartbreak

***

Poem #1

Your hopes are mid
You have the wings to fly
You fear what any single mother does
Getting your hopes high

I won’t tell you…to fly

~ Sakari

Poem # 2

Ride my vocals like the bike you drive
I’ll sing to your beauty, you beautiful being
And it’s only human for me
To want you in this way
The supernatural aspect of things
Stay in my journal

~ Sakari

Poem # 3

Every conversation
Tales of a hidden meaning
Your aura feels hopeless
You want hope from our dialogue

To the girl that’s tried before
You don’t have to try again
I’ll try for us both
You can wake your heart up again

~ Sakari

We think of additions to our lives
More kids for you and myself
Immediately, we both want more
The process should be held on to

~ Sakari

This is cool
This is a performance
With an opening act that promises
To notice you from the crowd

~ Sakari

Poem # 7

Break the rules to our roles
We don’t need to be like everyone else
We don’t need everyone to see us
We can go outside together, when it rains

~ Sakari

The unauthorized thoughts

That stay in her mind

We both went unnoticed

Close To Being With You

Extreme measures
Our resistance loses its band
We’re losing support
From one another

~ Sakari

I lose myself in moments
At the thought of you
You’re the highlight of all my secrets
If only we could have met
So much younger

~ Sakari

Do I belong here
The way they look at me
I can’t tell if it’s from interest
Or disturbance

~ Sakari

I’m out of place
I’m a shadow in a room
Full of light and life
I’m undead

~ Sakari

I used to be able to cry
Now I can’t even force it out
Unwilling and unable
My emotions disobey me

~ Sakari

Just when I wanted to give up
You needed me
And then I smiled to your smile

~ Sakari

All the time I want to ignore
This winter feeling in my chest
Your phone keeps you frozen
The blue light directly in your face

~ Sakari

And then you became someone else
A new form completely
I was so glad to know you
This new you

~ Sakari

Be wherever you want
I was going to meet you there in thought
Across the world wasn’t so bad
In the sky for hours to greet your hands

~ Sakari

My poetry moves from your push
The motivation I probably needed
Don’t go back into the sky, anytime soon
Don’t go back to the stars

~ Sakari

Can I be your countdown
Starting from nine
But never reaching zero
Showcasing your dimples
At the thought of me

~ Sakari

The way I’m so behind
I’m catching up with a Sagittarius
She hasn’t said a word yet
Just acknowledging me with her eyes

~ Sakari

Slow Days

When I leave my head down
I see you lifting my chin up
In the palm of your cuddle hand
Suddenly…I believe it all again

~ Sakari

No more girls
No more stress
No more trying to figure things out
No more finding myself

~ Sakari

She leaves and I find you
You leave and she sends a message
Maybe I should turn my phone off
And spend the whole day in bed

~ Sakari

Haven’t had anyone
Touch my heart and mean it
A shard in the palm of their hand
I didn’t mean it

~ Sakari

What’s to need
That’s another human being
I can’t wait for myself to pretend
That it’s all worth it another round

~ Sakari

Of course she says hi
What does that do for me
I respond and let her in
What does that do for me

~ Sakari
