“Dream World”
Micro Poetry Collection
Poem # 1
You dreamed about me before
You told me.
Reading my poetry, before you go to bed
Back against the headboard, where was my head?
I know where to fill in the blanks
I was climbing back up afterwards, wasn’t I?
~ Ocean Licks
Poem # 2
I was wondering through a forest
Somewhere foreign
Did I belong anywhere
Before I ended up here
The sun said you were east
I was walking from the north
A brighter light, came from the west
When I find you baby, I’m going south
