Only the day before.

I’d have you beside the Christmas tree, only my T-shirt and boxers on
Snow watching us, from the morning window.
A blizzard would be our excuse
A blizzard keeps us in
We’d miss true breakfast fashion
Only hot chocolate and cookies, by our side.
