Like the others
You don’t care
That my eyes are black
The upside down crosses on my soul
Don’t bother you
You don’t want me to be good, for the sake of being good
You understand, that I can’t outrun, the pain
All the while Jessica, you accept this.
This broken me.
You know what these other people don’t
And yet…you don’t look for escape
If I wrap you up, with this blood on my hands…
Blood on your towel…blood on your cheek….
You know where it’s from.
I know you though…you would still love me
