When we fall asleep, spiritual beings, in each other’s beds
Neither of us can be held
But we’re there
The way we tell each other everything
People in our homes, you call me instead
The way we picture a picture perfect image, our first time linking
The way your energy travels from your fingertips, into the “send” button
All the reasons for us to be together, we can’t ignore
I’m more than a distant friend, our separation, isn’t permanent
We’re solutions, to our problems
Temporary as it be, anxiety is just a word, when we speak
I can’t see myself seeing, something else
In someone else
Air touch as we have to, you feel so gratifying, even in spirit
Air touch as we may, keep us together
Air touch as we choose to, I’m coming over, with reasons for “us”
The way we crop our pictures together
The way we save every photo sent
The way we message each other, first morning eyesight
The way we eat at the same time
The way we tell every detail, of everything we do
It’s like I’m right there, right there next to you
The way I sing into your voice recordings, recognition from you
The way we make plans, that sometimes, never go through
All the reasons for us to be together, we can’t ignore
