When I think of you.
Thinking that you’re right beside me
And I haven’t spent six days, alone
You’re better at this distance thing than I am
Because I can’t wake up another moment
Finally knowing, that you exist.
You exist not far from me,
Just a Saturday away.

I thought about losing you before I had you
Yesterday.
I thought about falling for you
Instead of falling only in bed with you.
I thought about being on the edge of the map
With you.
I just keep thinking things through
All the while…

Your invisible wings, I can feel
Invitations, to a better life
I’m envisioning so much
When we speak
Envisioning evidence
Of a better happiness
I knew I wasn’t happy before
I knew my happiness was “made up…” before.
And you’re saving me.
Being every reason that I wake
At 6AM
You’re saving me.
Knowing I need saving outside a temple.
I’ve been outshined.
I know I’ve done very little
To deserve you’re time.
