I’ve already been telling family about you
Friends wanna know where I’ve been lately
No more late night video gaming
I’ve been face deep on the phone with you
I’ve wanted to tell you some things
But I’m so happy now, I don’t wanna scare you off
I’ve got mental things and mental images
That might scare you off now
This is me telling you.
Could I hold you if I was a mad man chasing a dream
Could I hold you if I told you the craziest of things
Could I be your love if I’m not as strong, as you think I am
Because all I want is more conversations with you
You’re a mother already, you don’t need to be
Taking care of me
You’ve been running around already
You don’t need to be, chasing after me
Someone whose trying to play catch up with life
Someone whose younger than you in spirit
I’m still holding back on things
That might scare you off
This is me telling you.
