I’ve realized I’ve been acting out because I hate you
But why hate you when I ain’t you
And why hate someone that I look like
Spit out from a sperm cell, I’m an altered you
Transparent and the people around me, actually love me
If I fell right now, they’d fall under me
I’m too blessed to be second guessing
Like the wind that left my old man’s body, in his car crash
We’ve both got a second wind, but I win
In the end, when you actually think about it…
I thought about it and I don’t need to worry about
The selected few that turned their backs on me
Money rules and allies, though all my allies love the average wallet me
Average people watching me, reporting back to my peers
I almost cried a tear earlier today, and that would’ve been too many tears
I’m the bitter one, I can admit that…
When I go, the loyal ones will follow
When I need them, the real ones will call back
My loved ones only fall back, because I say so
I love them more, but I say they love me more, because they say so…
I’m better off without “them”
I told my mother I felt alone earlier, but I’m better off without “them”
Too “out there” for them anyway
My mind wonders about negative things
And they were all involved anyway
They don’t want to relive the past, and neither do I
But everything I feel happened to me, so in the end, it’s just “I”
Confused only hours ago, believing my mother understood me up until hours ago
I’m not even hurt though
All this feels like 19 all over again, and it’s time for me to go
I was supposed to stick around until August, but it’s time for me to go
My mother hasn’t seen me in four years, it’s time to add four more…
