Poetry Pack: Three Interludes – 10/20

Casual Winds (Interlude)

Who’s not picking you in their dreams?

Who’s not acknowledging every echo from your voice?

River streams to the ear

You have to be whispering somewhere close

It’s underneath my own skin

These words that I’m just saying

You have to be more than just my inspiration

But no matter what anyone else is saying

I spill portions of my heart’s potion

Thinking of you

~ Sakari

Until My Days End (Interlude)

What efforts do you need

My heart has pen and paper ready

My soul has your link

I only need your permission

Does the edge of a night’s shore

Sound like a plan to you

I’m asking because my life force

Cannot sustain another year without you

After seeing that you exist

~ Sakari

Won’t Forget Your Waves (Interlude)

So jealous I’m not in your bed
Upset that I’ve caught you so late
When are you really going to bed
Can I get you to stay up late
***
Won’t change my mind if you say yes
I’ve been locked inside these thoughts for days
Like seeing you come my way isn’t natural for me
Not questioning if I can keep you in your room for days
***
Is it mine or your waves
That will lead us in direction
I want to know what I don’t know about you
I can see myself with you, in every direction

~ Sakari

Every way possible

It has to be us

No matter where it goes

Can we talk a little longer

As long as your door never closes

As long as you’re open for invitation

I’ve skipped my last two blunts

These are sober thoughts

She understands

Poem # 5

Take away beautiful dreams

And drawn-out rainy nights

Give away my senses

With blind folds around my eyes

And maybe your awareness of me

Will suddenly appear

~ Sakari

Poem # 6

Starting over

Seems like a small request

A simple response

For an effortless search

As magic touches underneath our feet

Allowing both of us to skate

On top of the 12:36am

~ Sakari

Poem # 7

They all lie

Those who said that you

Weren’t up to part

You’ve been the missing piece

A divinity remembrance

~ Sakari

Poem # 8

I cannot imagine you

Without purple flowers

Growing at your feet

You mean just that much

To my imagination

~ Sakari

Poem #9

Something to believe in

I keep seeing you in

Everything you wear and post

I keep seeing you

When I put my phone down

~ Sakari

Poem # 10

There can’t be any risks

Without caution signs

I never looked for a thing

Outside of your eyes

~ Sakari

Author Notes: I’m putting together my own e-commence store. My books, being digital products, will have their own safe haven to be in, instead of being split amongst many places. I’m taking absolute control over my career, being more of an entrepreneur than “author.”

Poetry Pack: Sex & Other Drugs – Preview

Relativity

It counts

Everything you do to me

Lists itself on my board

***

I don’t know what you’re saying

When he’s on top of you

Those are your moments

I request you in mine

***

Doesn’t it break you

The way it does me

Having to feel on yourself

Without anything sounding off

***

In your background

~ Sakari

Late & Withholding

As beautiful as she gets

I drag my own self to change these ways

The way I see it

I’m more understanding this way

Her sex can’t be delayed

My mind consists of her thrust

***

You’ve got it, you’ve got me

Strung out on my bed

With the same sheets I made

The last time you were thought of

I feel her in real life

Sex, sick, and tired

***

I drip on my own restrictions

She has me on a decline

~ Sakari

Bury Yourself In My Bed

She’s here for me

But not in the way that I need her

I hear her words

Could she feel my hands

***

Those memories

Are just memories

They’ll still be there

All that you have behind

Your love still counts

You’re not going anywhere

You should spill yourself

All over my night

***

Her time has investments

She calls them her family

I’m so used to this loneliness

I can’t create a thing

You can’t be this virtual

You’re something so personal

***

Those memories

Are just memories

They’ll still be there

All that you have behind

Your love still counts

You’re not going anywhere

You should spill yourself

All over my night

***

I’ll be selfish when he calls you

I’ll be demanding of your time

I’ll be ungrateful when you leave

You have my hours in your pocket

You can’t go, I won’t let you

Though I can’t stand to face you

You leave, you leave, you leave

I cut, I cut, I cut

~ Sakari

Poem: There She Goes (Interlude)

*There She Goes (Interlude)*

I saw us sitting at the park and talking
Everyone not minding us at all
I saw the morning congratulating us both
Dawn covering us at the same time
I just knew we were as early as the morning come
Your kindness telling me never mind
You were mine for a conversation
My eyes saying, “there she goes”

My imagination and soul, puts together this singing group
They’re singing for you, hoping these songs can be heard
Telling everyone at this lonely park
That she was supposed to be here
She’s sprawling with everything my dreams made a list of
There she goes, being unheard

~ Sakari

Poem: Half An Hour Without You/I Knew You Too Soon (Interlude)

*Half An Hour Without You/ I Knew You Too Soon*
__________________________________________
I figured you were catching up with the night
And answering questions from the stars
Giving advice to the fireflies
As well as adding sparkling effects, to the nearby lakes
Mentioning quiet nights alone
How often do we get this
I’m only asking because in my newest fable
You were by my window with wings

Half an hour without you
I figured I knew you too soon
You had become a hope so high
So soon, I’m hopeless now
I figure I’m thinking too deeply now
Surrounded by nothing serious
The doubts and worries that form a crowd
Was never really there at all

~ Sakari

Untitled Poem: 6-20-25

Rain outside my window
But it hasn’t reached your bathroom
The sound of a shower against the phone
I know you’re washing off the day
