Poetry for a gathering heart

I swear on my heart, I want to be the first of your everything
I want to be the first one to never leave you
The first one to wake up in the morning, searching for you
The first one to notice when you can’t sleep at night
The first one to calm you down with kisses on your chest
The first one to catch your tears in my hand
***
I want to be the first to explore
your imagination
~ Sakari

I’d like to stay inside
This world of fantasy
Live out my life with you
Inside this RPG
~ Sakari
One life is all we have
No matter what the metrics say
Why not avoid the final boss
For as long as possible
~ Sakari
Stay in the countryside with me
We don’t need the city noise
There are small markets nearby
Fresh meals for us both
~ Sakari
Sadness isn’t a promise
You are
Every day that I’m with you
Nothing is broken between us
~ Sakari
I don’t wanna wait
Until I find the courage to
Everyday
I’d like to be on screen with you
~ Sakari
Can you see the beauty in it
This distant land
That rains stardust
And lights up the night
~ Sakari

The first one to catch your tears in my hand

My newest serialized poetry book series, Empath, is available now for preorder on Amazon. The first arc will be a four-book series, with each book specializing in a different theme for “Longing.”
Book 1 will be called — Empath: From Autumn To Spring. This, like the ones after it, will be a quick read, and is priced at 99cents. This particular volume will focus more on the love side of things, being very big on daydreaming/fantasizing, about the hopes that love brings to the narrator’s heart.
This will be dedicated to those who just want some form of romance in their literature. No depression…no form of sadness. Only hope and inspiration. None of these books will have to be read in chronological order.
