I was defenseless when my mother drew a gun on me
Fourteen of age
Bullets meant for my father
The trigger was pulled
Safety unknown
Too scared for ether of us
To test the unknown
Still I jumped to the rescue
Wanting to save
My sperm donor
Proving I’ll die for you dad
But you won’t even cry for me dad
Don’t check on me
Your other baby mother has a baby
Then you flex on me
Calling her Heaven
When all you’ve given me
Is hell
Still
I wish you well
I can’t find it in me
To completely hate you
But forsake you
I have
I’m done putting you first
I’m better off being a leader
Instead of your wing man
