To keep trying out the same thing
You’re worth more than words
And lately,
I’ve only been all talk
I’m too wrong
To deserve someone so right
To deserve something so pure
When I ain’t even sure
If I want a future with you
If I want someone else
I’m tainted
I’ve been fakin it
Our love
Is false
When I say that I love you
I question myself
Because to love another
Means that I don’t come before someone else
These walls are so tight
And you suffocate me
I know I ain’t right
I should have been told the truth
I should have told you not to spend the night
I should have let you be alone in life
Knowing that someone out there
Would swoop you from pain
And take everything
That I could also gain
