Poem: Blood

I’ve been taking L’s
I don’t feel nothin
That’s what the weed is for
So I can feel somethin
I’m distracted but I’m still comin
I need a package just to feel somethin
Being blood Really don’t phase me
Being brothers Caught me a felony
But my girl kept on tellin me
That they hoein and sellin me
With eyes not being able to see
If I sacrifice the people I call family
That don’t make me shady
I’m just not lazy
I don’t wanna be played
Pay me
I should’ve charged a fee
For every move I made
Because ain’t nobody come to my aid
When I ain’t have shit
Askin for noodles
Made dad catch a fit
When you guys was eating off me
Not losing no sleep
I need my grandma, my baby, my Mary
All this stress
Is going to bury me
I’ve been taking L’s
I don’t feel nothin
That’s what the weed is for
So I can feel somethin
I’m distracted but I’m still comin
I need a package just to feel somethin
Family just here to play you
Just because two people raise you
They still plot to hate you
They burn you instead of save you

Yeah…it’s life though. Not too much I could do. I was only 19 when all this happened
